Ornant Oral Suspension is a combination of two medicines. L-Ornithine L-Aspartate is a combination of two amino acids which works by protecting the liver from harmful chemical substances (free radicals), thus preventing liver damage. Silymarin is an active principle obtained from milk thistle seed (Silybum marianum). It might protect liver cells from toxic chemicals and drugs. It also seems to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Ornant Oral Suspension may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
